Marucci Sports, the American sports equipment manufacturing company, a subsidiary of Fox Factory Holding Corp, has entered into a license agreement with North America’s Major League Baseball (MLB).

The deal makes the Marucci and Victus brands the exclusive official bats of MLB.

Additionally, the agreement provides the exclusive rights to use MLB trademarks with Marucci’s Smart Bat products featuring the embedded Diamond Kinetics bat sensor.

The exclusive license starts on January 1, 2025, and continues until December 31, 2028.

Another of Marucci Sports’ brands, Lizard Skins, is also currently the official bat grip of MLB.

Marucci and Victus brands are the top two most-used bats among MLB players and have had a long-standing presence in the league. 

Marucci said it expects to release more information later in the year through a joint announcement with MLB.
