Little Dot Sport in YouTube management tie-up with PFL, Bellator

Little Dot Sport, an arm of the the UK-based digital content studio and network, has struck a comprehensive YouTube-based deal with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), covering the mixed martial arts promotion and its Bellator series.

Through a tie-up unveiled today, Little Dot Sport (LDS) - owned by All3Media - has secured YouTube channel management rights for PFL, Bellator, and PFL Europe.

Bellator - a former rival promotion to the PFL - was taken over by the latter organization last November.

Specifically, LDS will manage the promotions’ channels on YouTube, including digital copyright management, aimed at enhancing PFL and Bellator’s overall presence on the platform. Alongside this, the Little Dot Studios sales team will be in charge of securing advertising for these channels.

A dedicated LDS team will work alongside the promotions at global events, managing content publishing and fight night optimisation.

Between these events, a content team will “continue engaging audiences and growing the channels.”

This deal builds on the previous relationship between LDS and Bellator, through which the content house managed the promotion’s YouTube channel in 2023.

It also comes with the PFL having recently announced Chris Kaiser as its new head of global productions and content operations, in late September.

In this role, Kaiser is now overseeing live event production across all PFL franchises, including PFL PPV Super Fights, PFL Champion Series, PFL Global Season, and PFL International Leagues (PFL Europe, PFL MENA, and PFL Africa). He also now leads original content development and operations.

David Green, Bellator’s executive vice president of commercial operations and business development, has commented on bringing LDS on board: "Their strategic approach to growing audiences alongside their proven track record of enhancing and creating revenue streams will be invaluable to us as we continue to grow PFL and Bellator’s presence globally.”

Katie Matthews, partnership director at Little Dot Sport, added: "This is a really exciting time for us to be partnering with PFL as they continue their global expansion. The opportunities that their ongoing events schedule provides ... alongside their incredibly rich archive, gives us a huge array of premium content to work with to both build audiences and develop revenue streams.”

Little Dot Sport, launched as an offshoot of Little Dot Studios in 2022, also has sporting properties such as England’s Football Association, Premiership Rugby, the England and Wales Cricket Board, and Team GB, in its client stable.
