The annual International Sports Convention (ISC) sports business conference returns next month, bringing together some of the industry’s most influential figures to provide insight and provoke debate and discussion on subjects influencing the industry today.
This year’s conference at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, UK, between March 20 and 21 will feature a series of exciting keynotes, innovative presentations, case studies, and panel discussions covering the most popular topics that are shaping the landscape of sports globally.
The ISC has said its 2024 edition is set to be its biggest event yet, with 1000 delegates, 100 plus speakers, seven sports business conferences over two days, and plenty of networking and business opportunities.
Speakers will feature the likes of Luis Villas-Boas Pires, head of agents at world soccer governing body FIFA, David Proper, executive vice president of ice hockey’s NHL, Fabio Calamosca, head of fan strategy and planning at motor racing’s Formula 1, Henry Hodgson, the UK general manager of the American football’s NFL, and Sergio Friede Bobadilla, head of marketing and growth for Europe and Middle East at basketball’s NBA.
Insights on the future of the sports industry will be provided throughout the two-day event, with sessions focusing on women’s sports, broadcast and over-the-top services, brands and sponsorship, digital and fan engagement, events and tourism, integrity and governance, and diversity, inclusion, and equality.
Magdalena Fletcher, co-founder of the ISC, said: “[It] will be 15 years of the International Sports Convention – a project which I started in 2009 with my husband, Nigel.
“It was also the time I gave birth to our first son. It is therefore a privilege to host this important meet-up and ensure the next 15 years there will be even more female representation at the ISC, across all levels. We have made a lot of progress together, but we must keep pushing. I look forward to welcoming you all.”
