US top-tier soccer team Inter Miami CF and the financial services company JPMorgan Chase have announced a naming rights partnership covering Inter Miami’s 21,500-seat stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which will now be known as the Chase Stadium.

The major multi-year partnership sees JPMorgan Chase take stadium naming rights for the MLS side's arena.

As part of the partnership, Chase will also have major signage branding on the interior and exterior of the stadium, and Inter Miami will introduce the J.P. Morgan Suite Level and VIP Entrance to the venue, as well as showcasing the company’s brands on LED screens and other stadium signage.

The deal will in addition see Chase debit and credit card clients getting access to an exclusive entrance to Chase Stadium on matchdays, special promotions including presale ticket access, preferred seating opportunities, and discounts on merchandise at the Inter Miami Team Store and food concessions located in the stadium.

Additionally, Chase will be providing its debit and credit card clients with a 25% discount at select concessions at Chase Stadium during Inter Miami CF’s 2024 season-opening home fixture (also the first MLS fixture of the new campaign) today against Real Salt Lake.

Inter Miami CF chief business officer Xavier Asensi has said: “Inter Miami is honored to partner with the country's largest bank, JPMorgan Chase. We could not have envisioned a more fitting new main partner, as we look forward to chasing our dreams at Chase Stadium in 2024 and beyond.”

The partnership with Inter Miami is Chase’s first stadium naming rights deal in soccer, although the digital bank of JPMorgan Chase bought naming rights to the stadium plaza of the MLS' Columbus Crew last year.

JPMorgan Chase also has partnerships with Madison Square Garden, the US Open, the F1 Miami Grand Prix, the Golden State Warriors’ Chase Center, and the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks.

Inter Miami (who include Argentine soccer icon Lionel Messi in their playing squad) last month announced the expansion of their partnership with south Florida-based cruise line Royal Caribbean, which sees the club’s vacation partner become the club's official jersey sponsor.

The newly-named Chase Stadium has been the team's home since their inaugural season of existence in 2020, although the club is building a new venue, Miami Freedom Park.

Meanwhile, National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team Angel City FC (ACFC) has partnered with retail clothing brand Pacsun, making the brand an official team-level partner in a multi-year deal.

As part of the tie-up, there will be a two-part content series showcasing the collaboration in-store at Pacsun, featuring members of the Angel City community shopping, as well as further showcasing of the deal through ‘Merch of the Match’, and social media and email inclusions.

Being based in Los Angeles like ACFC, Pacsun has also worked in partnership with MLS soccer team Los Angeles FC and NFL American football team the LA Rams.
