InPost, the Polish logistics company, has today announced a new multi-year sponsorship deal with English soccer club Newcastle United to become an official partner of the Premier League club.

The tie-up has been described as the first of its kind for InPost’s UK operation and will see specially designed lockers introduced at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park stadium.

InPost’s brand will also be visible at the ground and debuted during Newcastle’s 1-0 win over Manchester United on Saturday (December 2).

The two parties will also activate the partnership through exclusive content, competitions, and other fan engagement initiatives.

Rafał Brzoska, InPost Group founder and chief executive, said: “This exciting partnership with Newcastle United underlines our commitment to expand InPost’s presence in the UK and Europe and to provide our delivery solutions to a wider audience.

“Sport is a core strategic pillar for InPost across Europe, and we are delighted to add a football team to our growing portfolio of partners. The international reach and popularity of the club will also help InPost break new ground.”

Peter Silverstone, Newcastle United’s chief commercial officer, added: “This first-of-its-kind Premier League partnership clearly shows a shared commitment from InPost and Newcastle United to be innovative and creative, whilst putting our fans at the heart of activity.

“Like Newcastle United, InPost is on a rapid and remarkable UK and international growth trajectory. We are excited to partner with InPost, providing an incredible platform to support its UK and European growth plans.”

This is the latest sports partnership for InPost as it was announced as an official partner of road cycling’s iconic Tour de France in October and the Polish Football Association in 2022.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have concluded several commercial deals in recent months, including a renewal with Saudia, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, and a new kit supply deal with German sportswear giants adidas from the 2024-25 season.
