Sports and entertainment agency Infront has been appointed the exclusive marketing partner of Italian basketball club Virtus Segafredo Bologna in a three-year deal.
The agreement includes the management of commercial and marketing rights for the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 seasons with the possibility of renewal.
Through the tie-up, Infront will work with the Bolognese club to develop new sponsorship formats for all national and international matches, both within the Italian championship and cups and in international competitions and friendly matches/tournaments organized by the club.
The deal expands Infront’s basketball portfolio, including its position as the official advisor of Italy’s top-tier Lega Basket Serie A and exclusive marketing partner of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).
Luca Baraldi, chief executive of Virtus Segafredo Bologna, has said: “The multi-year agreement is a concrete sign of the appeal of Virtus Segafredo Bologna also from a commercial point of view and is of great importance for the club's strategy.
