Hero MotoCorp, the Indian motorcycle manufacturer, has extended its long-running partnership with the International Hockey Federation (FIH) governing body for another five years.
Under the renewed agreement, which will run through 2029, Hero MotoCorp becomes FIH’s global leadership partner, the organization’s highest sponsorship tier.
The deal prolongs a partnership that has spanned over the past 15 years.
The two parties concluded the extension at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympics.
The partnership starts immediately and includes all FIH events for the next five years, including the FIH Hockey World Cup, the FIH Hockey Pro League, the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup, the FIH Hockey Junior World Cup, the FIH Hockey5s World Cup, or the FIH Hockey Nations Cup.
Earlier this year, the FIH secured a four-year global partnership with sportswear giant NIKE.
