Fite, the combat sports network, has secured coverage of Singapore-based mixed martial arts promotion ONE Championship in New Zealand and select Pacific Islands.

The deal includes coverage of all Asia primetime ONE Friday Fight events, as well as all US primetime ONE Fight Night events.

Coverage begins with the women’s event ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham today (September 29) live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The Pacific Islands covered by the partnership are American Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Niue, Northern Mariana Islands, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, New Caledonia, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis, and Futuna.

The deal expands Fite's growing combat sports portfolio, which includes Game Changer Wrestling, Triller Fight Club, National Wrestling Alliance, Fight2Win, SlapFight Championship, and Star Boxing.

Earlier this year the network acquired the rights to show live events from US bare-knuckle boxing promotion Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).

BKFC events are shown on the Fite+ subscription service and are also made available on a pay-per-view basis.

Fite also acquired coverage of soccer’s 2023-24 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands this month.

Analyzing the dynamics and business of the English Premier League

The Premier League is one of the biggest and most popular soccer leagues in the world and forms part of the ‘big five’ leagues contested in Europe. The team sponsorship market is worth $1.5 billion in the 2023-2024 season, with the technology sector emerging as the most prominent industry, with 55 deals. Betting brands retain large prominence on Premier League shirts and are responsible for ~35% of all team shirt deals this season, as clubs cash in before the looming ban on such deals.
