Fite, the combat sports network, has secured coverage of Singapore-based mixed martial arts promotion ONE Championship in New Zealand and select Pacific Islands.
The deal includes coverage of all Asia primetime ONE Friday Fight events, as well as all US primetime ONE Fight Night events.
Coverage begins with the women’s event ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham today (September 29) live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The Pacific Islands covered by the partnership are American Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Niue, Northern Mariana Islands, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, New Caledonia, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis, and Futuna.
The deal expands Fite's growing combat sports portfolio, which includes Game Changer Wrestling, Triller Fight Club, National Wrestling Alliance, Fight2Win, SlapFight Championship, and Star Boxing.
Earlier this year the network acquired the rights to show live events from US bare-knuckle boxing promotion Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
BKFC events are shown on the Fite+ subscription service and are also made available on a pay-per-view basis.
Fite also acquired coverage of soccer’s 2023-24 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands this month.
