CSI Sports, the New York-based fight sports production and distribution company that owns the Fight Sports channel, has expanded the distribution of its syndicated network in the US through a new partnership with Gray Television, the US local TV broadcaster.
Fight Sports claims the deal will extend its distribution by over 6 million households, strengthening its presence in markets including Georgia, Connecticut, and Nevada.
Christine Ecklund, director of scheduling and programming at CSI Sports, said: “Our national program block has built a loyal following over the years and now we are excited to expand our distribution even further with Gray Television.
“Fight Sports reaches all Top 10 DMAs in the country, and with this new partnership our nationwide coverage delivers 25 of the top 30.”
Steve Gleason, director of programming at Gray Television, added: “We are excited to add Fight Sports to our Sports Networks in Georgia (Peachtree Sports Network), Connecticut (The Wax) and Nevada (Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network). We know our viewers want high-quality action-packed programming and that’s why we put this deal together.”
