FIFA, global soccer’s governing body, has announced the renewal of its long-term partnership with Doha-based airline Qatar Airways until 2030.

The national carrier will continue to serve as FIFA's global airline partner.

As part of the deal, Qatar Airways will engage with fans at tournaments and through various digital platforms, giving fans access to exclusive travel packages including match tickets, flights, and accommodation for select FIFA tournaments through a dedicated Qatar Airways platform.

The agreement covers several FIFA tournaments including the 2026 and 2030 men's World Cups, the 2027 Women's World Cup, and all youth men's and women's tournaments, having started with the ongoing Under-17 World Cup in Indonesia.

The original partnership began in May 2017.

Last week, Qatar Airways also announced a deal with Italian top-tier Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan, while the airline is also a main sponsor of Paris Saint-German, the champions of France's Ligue 1, and was a sleeve sponsorship partner to Bayern Munich, champions of German soccer’s top-tier Bundesliga, until they ended the deal due to fan pressure.

However, its usage has now become more prevalent in other aspects such as personalized marketing, customer service, pricing optimization, and supply chain management. With the rise of ecommerce and the increasing importance of data-driven decision-making, AI adoption in retail and apparel has accelerated. The industry now relies on AI to enhance the shopping experience, optimize business operations, and gain an overall competitive edge.
