The French Tennis Federation (FFT) has opened a tender process for a host broadcaster for the Roland Garros French grand slam tennis tournament between 2025 and 2029.

The FFT is seeking a company to provide consultancy and support, services such as live and non-live production, feed monitoring and distribution, as well as additional services to the federation and its broadcast partners.

Companies who intend to bid for the five-year contract can do so by contacting Amandine Tyl, the FFT’s head of broadcast and production, to gain access to the federation’s secure platform.

A deadline of January 12 has been set for offers to be submitted.

Host Broadcast Services (HBS), the international television production specialist, currently holds the Roland Garros contract.

HBS was appointed to support the FFT’s new in-house operation for the Paris-based grand slam from the 2021 edition.

That move came after the federation decided to take production services in-house in 2021, taking on the role previously carried out by public-service network France Télévisions, which continues to televise the event.

The FFT, together with HBS, is responsible for providing TV coverage of Roland Garros in some 150 countries worldwide.

HBS is a subsidiary of Infront, the international sports marketing agency.

Earlier this year, the FFT extended domestic broadcast rights agreements for Roland Garros with France Televisions and streaming heavyweight Amazon Prime Video until 2027.
