Euroleague in trading cards tie-up with Panini

Through the partnership, Panini will create an exclusive EuroLeague card collection for fans.

Euroleague Basketball, the organizer of top European club competitions, has agreed a new partnership with Panini America, the regional subsidiary of the sports trading card manufacturer. Under a multi-year deal, the company will serve as the official trading card partner of the top-tier EuroLeague. Through the tie-up, Panini will create an exclusive EuroLeague card collection for fans, with the first EuroLeague trading cards launched via Panini’s real-time Panini Instant product. The cards will feature top EuroLeague players and will be accessible across four of Panini’s most popular brands, beginning with Panini Instant and followed by Donruss EuroLeague, Prizm EuroLeague, and Crown Royale EuroLeague. The collections will include a range of limited-edition cards, including autographed cards, memorabilia cards, and rare inserts. The EuroLeague collection will be available globally on Panini’s official website. Paulius Motiejunas, Euroleague Basketball chief executive, said: “This collaboration will allow us to bring the passion of the EuroLeague to collectors and fans representing an incredible opportunity for us to build iconic products that will captivate audiences globally and boost the engagement with the EuroLeague fans." Mark Warsop, chief executive of Panini America, added: “We look forward to working with the EuroLeague to showcase its players and deliver some of our most popular trading card brands to EuroLeague fans.”

Business of Formula One 2023

The annual sponsorship value for Formula one in the 2023 season is $360.5 million, with Red Bull set to be the biggest earners from sponsorship this season. Of the 23 races on the 2023 racing calendar, only five Grand Prix’s will be without an official named title partner, as Qatar Airways, Heineken, Lenovo, Pirelli and Rolex all boast multiple Grand Prix rights. Formula One are estimated to generate $1.05 billion in ticket sales in 2023.
