The E1 World Championship, the all-electric boat racing series that got underway in early 2024, has announced the full list of event locations for its second season, starting in January.
The championship’s new race locations for 2025 include an event in the US, and Qatar’s Doha Grand Prix.
The US race will be the season finale, with a “major American city” to be revealed next month, meanwhile.
The calendar also includes a return to season one locations Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Monaco, and Lake Como (Italy).
E1 will once again start its season in Jeddah, with the race part of the Electric 360 partnership created by Saudi Arabia’s PIF.

Rodi Basso, co-founder and chief executive of E1, has said: “E1’s growth and expansion across the globe shows that it has arrived as a truly global sport.
“The inclusion of new race locations in Qatar and the US in season two, with more to come, is a testament to the growing interest and investment in the championship and we are looking forward to taking the sport to new audiences.”
Alejandro Agag, co-founder and chairman of E1, added: “Our mission in season one was to revolutionize and set a new standard for racing on the water. We are pleased to unveil the season two calendar and to continue to drive towards our mission and expand on this success.
“The calendar sees an inclusion of new cities around the world who are aligned with our vision of building a sustainable sport, and passionate about E1.”
In September, it was announced that Sports media consultancy firm Iris Sports Media will be in charge of global media rights for E1 up until the end of 2025.
The deal gives Iris exclusive distribution rights in all territories for the full 2025 campaign of the racing series.
The inaugural season ended with NFL legend Tom Brady’s Team Brady being crowned champions ahead of the Will Smith-owned Westbrook Racing and Marc Anthony’s Team Miami.
