The Los Angeles Dodgers, of the US' Major League Baseball (MLB), have entered into a multi-year agreement with Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (Ana) that will make the Tokyo-based company the team’s official Japanese airline partner.
As part of the deal, ANA signage will be present behind the home plate at the Dodger Stadium and at the Dodgers’ spring training base at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona.
ANA branding will also be on the Dodger Stadium outfield wall, while also serving as the team’s backdrop for select media interviews during home and away games.
Additionally, ANA will serve as the presenting partner of select promotional stadium giveaways throughout the agreement.
Lon Rosen, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of the Los Angeles Dodgers, said: “The Dodgers are excited to take flight with All Nippon Airways as a corporate partner for the 2024 season and beyond.
“We are taking advantage of several of our platforms to showcase the ANA brand. Together, these displays will drive brand exposure for ANA to more than 4 million in-stadium fans and millions of fans watching from home.”
ANA president and chief executive Shinichi Inoue added: "Amid increasing interest and excitement in Japan toward the Dodgers, we are honored to become a proud partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers. We look forward to bringing the excitement as we connect fans between the US and Japan alongside this esteemed team.”
