German soccer’s DFL body and Mondelez International have signed a partnership extension, maintaining the US snacking giant's partnership with the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 leagues.
As part of the extension, Mondelez brands such as Milka, Oreo, and TUC will continue to use DFL and German soccer club rights, including logos of competitions, clubs, and trophies in promotions throughout Germany.
This includes through packaging design, in-store displays, and online media.
The new deal was coordinated by Bundesliga International, a subsidiary of the DFL, with Mondelez International having been a partner of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 since 2021.
Peer Naubert, Bundesliga International chief marketing officer, said: “After three years, we are pleased to extend our collaboration with a strong, globally recognized partner. We look forward to continuing our relationship, working together to reach more Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 fans throughout Germany and beyond.”
