Germany’s top-tier men's soccer competition, the Bundesliga, is continuing its multiplatform broadcasting strategy in Brazil for the 2024-25 season.

The strategy consists of the competition being broadcast on TV Cultura and RedeTV free-to-air (FTA), by Sportv on pay TV, and through the Cazé TV, Goat, and OneFootball streaming services.

TV Cultura will broadcast one match every Sunday, while RedeTV will broadcast one match every Saturday.

Sportv meanwhile will show two matches per round of games, starting with this season’s Bundesliga opener tomorrow (August 23), with Borussia Mönchengladbach playing last season’s winners Bayer Leverkusen.

For the second season running Cazé TV, Goat, and OneFootball will also broadcast two matches per round.

Bundesliga players from Brazil include Borussia Dortmund's Yan Couto, one of a number of Brazilians plying their trade in the German league.

Earlier this month the Bundesliga announced a long-term tie-up with International sports-focused OTT streaming service DAZN, making it the exclusive Spanish broadcaster of Germany’s top-tier men's soccer competition.

The deal for the upcoming rights cycle will start at the beginning of the 2025-26 season and run through to the end of the 2028-29 campaign.

The Bundesliga also outlined a range of broadcast tie-ups in sub-Saharan Africa the week prior, including a new pay-TV partner in Angola and Mozambique.

Early July, meanwhile, saw the league announce a return in Poland to Eleven Sports, the international subscription broadcaster, through a four-year deal beginning in 2025-26.
