Super League Basketball (SLB), the newly established top tier of UK basketball, has unveiled Brandvox and EMG/Gravity Media as its production partners for 2024-25.
This follows the announcement late last month that sports streaming service DAZN is snapping up exclusive global broadcast rights - on a free-to-air basis - for the nine-team league.
The full league calendar - of over 200 games - will be produced alongside Brandvox and EMG/Gravity Media.
Brandvox will manage the delivery of all live games, while EMG/Gravity Media (the two entities merged in mid-January) will oversee all on-demand content and a number of the live games.
SLB supplanted the British Basketball League (BBL) as the new top tier of British basketball earlier this year following the former’s dissolution due to severe financial troubles.
During 2022-23, Brandvox was a BBL partner.
Vaughn Millette, interim chair at SLB, said: “Throughout an exhaustive tender process, both Brandvox and EMG / Gravity Media demonstrated a clear and collaborative commitment to engaging the Super League Basketball community and providing fans with the best possible coverage of their sport.
“We’ve been impressed by how quickly Brandvox and EMG / Gravity Media have mobilized their resources to work together and enable the Super League games to be broadcast from the very opening weekend.”
Frank Callaghan, EMG/Gravity Media’s director of production and content, added: “It's an exciting next stage for the sport in the UK, with a brand-new broadcast partner, [and] we’re looking forward to bringing the stories to life in what promises to be a fascinating season ahead.”
The inaugural SLB season began on September 27 and is set to run through to late April.
