Bayern Munich, the heavyweight German soccer club, has agreed a long-term regional sponsorship deal with pain relief brand Tiger Balm in Southeast Asia and China.

The four-year deal, which will run through 2028, will see the brand sponsor the Bundesliga side in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Mainland China.

Michael Diederich, the executive vice chairman of FC Bayern, said the deal will give the club “an even greater presence in the region.”

The partnership was announced ahead of Bayern’s return to Asia for another pre-season tour.

The Bavarian outfit will face England’s Tottenham Hotspur in South Korea on Saturday (August 3).

In recent weeks, Bayern also announced partnerships with sports betting and online casino operator Versusbet in Mexico, and consumer electronics brand Baseus.
