Barcelona, the Spanish soccer giants, and Fortinet, the cybersecurity firm, have signed a sponsorship agreement around the club's Espai Barça project.

The deal makes Fortinet the LaLiga club’s new official cybersecurity partner for the next three seasons, until June 30, 2028.

As part of the agreement, Barcelona will use Fortinet’s Security Fabric platform to ensure the club’s stadium has a secure digital environment.

This includes FortiGate firewalls to secure stadium Wi-Fi, OT infrastructure, and a data center. Fortinet’s Zero Trust Network Access and endpoint security will aim to protect users and devices accessing applications. Additionally, centralized management with AI-powered security analytics will offer network visibility.

Barcelona is currently renovating the iconic Camp Nou, already the largest stadium in Europe, and its capacity will increase to 105,000 once refurbishments are completed, making it the third-largest stadium in the world behind North Korea’s Rungrado 1st of May Stadium and India’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

It is anticipated that work will end in 2026, but the venue will be able to host matches by the beginning of 2025.

Barca also recently signed a sponsorship deal with mobility solutions company TK Elevator to become a supplier of the Espai Barça project for the next five seasons.

Meanwhile, Italian heavyweights Juventus have announced online gaming site Instant Casino as their new regional partner in various European countries.

As part of the deal, the LED system at Juventus’ Allianz Stadium will feature the Instant Casino logo, while there will be in-stadium fan promotions and opportunities for fans to win official jerseys and tickets to Juventus games via the Instant Casino platform.

Last mont,h Juventus announced a five-year partnership with Two Circles, the international digital-focused sports agency, to collaborate on the Turin-based club's new commercial partnership program.

The focus of the deal will be on expanding Juventus' fan base and partnership network globally.

Elsewhere, beleaguered Dutch side Ajax and menswear brand Atelier Munro have agreed a new partnership, making the company the club’s official formal wear supplier from next season until at least 2027.

As part of the deal, Ajax directors and employees will be dressed by Atelier Munro, while the Ajax men's and women's teams will wear Atelier Munro's suits and formal wear on select official occasions and matches.

Atelier Munro joins Ajax’s other clothing sponsors, including main sponsor adidas, who has been supplying all on and off-field sportswear for the Eredivisie outfit since 2000, and Replay, which is the official fashion wear partner of the club, a position held since 2020.

Ajax extended their deal with Adidas last January until 2031.
