AZ Alkmaar renews ties with Nike through 2030

Nike will continue as the Dutch side's kit provider for the next five seasons.

Dutch top-flight soccer side AZ Alkmaar have extended their kit supply partnership with global sportswear giant NIKE for the next five seasons.

Nike will continue to provide AZ Alkmaar with men’s and women’s first-team kits, youth team kits, training wear for all categories, and other team apparel through the end of the 2029-2030 campaign.

Having first partnered with the club ahead of the 2020-21 season in a five-year deal running to the end of the current campaign, this new five-year renewal will take the pair to a decade of partnership.

Nike replaced previous kit partner Under Armor in 2020.

This extended partnership will also see the pair activate around AZ Alkmaar’s region (North Holland) to connect Nike with local amateur soccer clubs.

Alongside the Dutch top-flight Eredivisie, which they won most recently in 2009, AZ Alkmaar also compete in continental club competition in the UEFA Europa League for 2024-25, and it has qualified for continental competition in some form every year since the 2018-19 season, having finished no lower than fifth in the Eredivisie in that time.

Earlier in October, the club announced a pair of commercial renewals that have helped to maintain its strong regionally-focused partnership portfolio, with Dutch beer brand Amstel and local advertising company Rodi Media committing as partners for the coming seasons.

The club’s front-of-shirt sponsor is online casino brand Kansino, which has served in the role since the beginning of the 2022-23 season.
