The Australian Professional Leagues (APL), the organizing body for Australian soccer’s top-tier professional competitions, has announced the dual appointment of production company Jam TV and facilities provider EMG/Gravity Media as its new production partners.

The two-year deal, covering the 2024-25 and 2025-26 A-League men’s and women’s seasons, will see Jam TV and EMG/Gravity Media produce all matches across the two competitions for the APL’s broadcast partners - free-to-air broadcaster Network 10 and the Paramount+ OTT service.

Jam TV and EMG/Gravity Media will produce over 320 A-League games across the duration of the partnership, alongside shoulder content and ancillary programming around the league and its teams to grow the amount of content Australian soccer fans have access to.

This will also include additional resources granted to the A-League women’s competition to grow the profile of women’s soccer in the country.

Speaking on the announcement, A-Leagues commissioner Nick Garcia stated: “This is a highly credentialed combination between one of Australia’s most proven creative sports production enterprises in Jam TV and the global football powerhouse of EMG/Gravity Media.

“Along with the production of over 320 A-Leagues’ games through the seasons, this partnership also gives the league and our clubs more content to engage fans and showcase the great stories of our game.”

Jam TV has an existing relationship with the APL, having created and produced the body’s A-Leagues All Access behind-the-scenes documentary series for the past two seasons.

The firm also produces live broadcasts for Australia’s National Basketball League, various Australian-rules football competitions, and golf.

The 2024-25 APL seasons will begin with the men’s competition, which will kick off on October 18, before the women’s competition begins on November 1. Both will run through May 2025.
