AE Live, the UK-based sports broadcast graphics specialist, has extended its long-running partnership with the ITV Sport wing of the UK commercial broadcaster.

The relationship between those two parties dates back over 25 years, and the extension will see AE Live work with ITV to develop “new innovations and enhancements to complement the extensive graphics and stats in use already.”

AE Live and ITV work together on ITV Sport’s live coverage of properties across soccer, rugby union, horse racing, darts, and snooker.

Innovations across racing will include augmented reality graphics, on-course wirecams, and the “integration of race and timing data from a range of providers.”

The specific properties covered by the partnership include soccer’s FA Cup and England men’s and women’s national team fixtures (including the ongoing men's European Championship), rugby union’s English Premiership, Six Nations, and Champions Cup.

Aside from ITV Sport, AE Live works with broadcasters and production companies such as Sky Sports, Premier League Productions, and WTA Media.

This time last year, the firm unveiled the acquisition of virtual production firm Silver Spoon.
