Absolut Sport expands Conmebol partnership for 2024 Copa America

The firm was already Conmebol's official agency for official travel fan packages for the Libertadores and Sudamericana.

Hospitality agency Absolut Sport has expanded its partnership with Conmebol, South American soccer’s governing body, gaining the designation of official travel partner of this year's Copa America national teams tournament.

Absolut Sport was already the official agency of Conmebol for official travel fan packages for the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana continental club tournament finals.

The new deal will allow fans to access exclusive travel packages for every tournament game through Absolut Sport.

Juan Emilio Roa, commercial and marketing director of Conmebol, added: “Having an agency with the expertise of Absolut Sport focused on creating products aimed at the portion of fans interested in an experience beyond matchday aligns with Conmebol’s strategic pillars, which involve putting the fan at the center of the business strategy.

“We also have a great concern with combating piracy, and establishing a clear path for fans who want to travel to the tournament is, first and foremost, protecting the fan experience.”

Copa America will be played across 14 cities in the US from June 20 to July 14.

The 48th edition of the 16-team Copa America will return to the US for the first time since 2016 when that tournament set a new attendance record with nearly 1.5 million fans.
