The 1190 Sports marketing agency has unveiled new distribution deals for Brazilian soccer’s top-tier Brasileirão in France and Spain.

In France, a partnership has been struck with global streaming service DAZN for coverage of two games from each week of the Brasileirão during the remainder of the current season (which ends in early December), while in Spain the tie-up is with the LaLiga+ platform - also for two matches per round.

That deal also extends to the LaLigaTV Bar service, meaning the fixtures will be available for fans to watch in Spanish public establishments and commercial premises with that platform enabled.

Both agreements, aside from live match coverage, also include access to special content such as highlights, interviews, features with rising stars, and extra content around the league, clubs, and stadiums.

1190 Sports has held international distribution rights to Brazil’s top league since August 2020.

It holds the same role for the Paulistão, one of the premier regional soccer championships in the country.

The agency is also acting as an advisor to Liga Forte Futbol (LFF), one of the groups seeking to restructure the format of Brazilian top-tier domestic soccer, through a deal unveiled in April.

Hernan Donnari, the agency’s chief executive and co-founder, said: “To see the expansion plan that we created for the Brasileirāo, translated in an unprecedented reach for the tournament is extremely gratifying.

“Adding new territories, sealing agreements with key operators, and expanding the presence of the competitions across the globe will continue to be one of the main goals of 1190 Sports in all markets, for the benefit of sports, the clubs, the players, and the brands that support these top-level championships.”
