World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced its Friday Night SmackDown and Money in the Bank events in London, UK, have set all-time revenue records for the company.
WWE said its Friday Night SmackDown event on Friday (June 30) became the highest-grossing SmackDown event of all time, while Money in the Bank on Saturday (July 1) became the WWE’s highest-grossing arena event in the organization’s history.
Collectively, the two events grossed more than $5.4 million, while 37,000 fans attended the O2 Arena across both nights.
WWE also revealed Money in the Bank saw a 9% jump in sponsorship revenue compared to the record set in 2022, while also generating the most income for venue merchandise sold during an event in WWE history.
Viewership also increased 17% from last year’s record and also surpassed the last UK live event – Clash at the Castle – by 30%.
The event also set a record for its On Location fan experience packages, making it the highest-grossing non-WrestleMania in WWE’s history.

By GlobalDataFriday’s episode of SmackDown, meanwhile, drew 2.51 million viewers to domestic broadcaster Fox – an increase of 17% compared to last year.
As well as London, WWE is due to visit India later this year after announcing a renewed focus on staging events abroad. It has not yet been revealed whether the event will be exclusively live or whether there are plans to broadcast it.
WWE was originally supposed to hold an event in India on January 18, 2023, but it was postponed due to the ongoing proposed merger between WWE's Indian television partner Sony Sports Network merging and Zee Entertainment.
The last WWE live show in the country, WWE Live India Supershow at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, was on December 9, 2017.
In May, Endeavor, the international entertainment and sports giant, announced that the new publicly listed company that will merge the WWE and Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts series will be called TKO Group Holdings.
