German top-flight Bundesliga soccer side Wolfsburg have announced a new partnership with German nutritional supplement firm Buxtrade.
Through the deal, which spans the current 2024-25 Bundesliga season, Buxtrade gains prominent sponsorship inventory on LED pitchside hoardings at Wolfsburg’s 30,000-capacity Volkswagen Arena during the club’s home games.
Michael Meeske, Wolfsburg managing director, has commented: “Buxtrade's high-quality products ideally complement our range and we look forward to bringing this collaboration to life.”
Wolfsburg are Buxtrade’s first partners in the Bundesliga, the most popular and most visible sports competition in Germany.
Speaking on the deal, Buxtrade managing director Julian Meyer stated: “We at Buxtrade are happy to now have a partner club in the Bundesliga and hope that this commitment will give us even more reach and contacts.”
The pair will also collaborate to grow their respective businesses with Buxtrade able to expand its network at Wolfsburg networking events.

In the past, Buxtrade has also partnered with lower-division soccer clubs.
In the 2023-24 campaign, the brand partnered with SV Hamburger (extended from 2022-23), and Greuther Furth, both of which play in the second tier 2. Bundesliga but have recent history in the top flight.
Wolfsburg, meanwhile, are owned by car giant Volkswagen and the car brand is their most prominent sponsor, appearing as the club's stadium naming rights partner and front-of-shirt sponsor continuously since 1991.
They currently sit 14th in the 18-team 2024-25 Bundesliga table.
