LIV Golf has seen more change to its senior leadership team, with chief media officer Will Staeger the latest to depart the Saudi-backed series ahead of its third full season.
It is understood that Staeger and LIV have mutually parted ways, according to the Sports Business Journal publication.
His departure comes soon after Greg Norman was replaced as chief executive by Scott O’Neil.
The media executive was among the first hires for the controversial series when it was launched, joining in 2021.
Staeger was instrumental in securing LIV’s first broadcast deal with The CW, the US national commercial TV network, which provided much-needed exposure in a key market.
He was also involved in discussions that resulted in LIV landing a major broadcast deal with Fox earlier this month.

Their first chief commercial officer, Sean Bratches, resigned days after LIV held its inaugural event at Centurion Club in June 2022.
His replacement, Atul Khosla, also left his position with LIV after one year only.
LIV Golf begins its third season on February 6 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
