TNT Sports, the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned pay-TV broadcaster, has secured exclusive rights in the UK and Ireland to the touring car series Supercars Championship, and has also renewed its rights to Australian rules football’s AFL.

The new Supercar Championship rights tie-up will see TNT Sports show every race during the upcoming 2025 season on its linear TNT Sports channel and streaming platform discovery+ starting from this weekend's race at Sydney Motorsport Park.

The rights package includes highlights, which will be shown across TNT Sports’ linear channels.

The agreements adds to TNT Sports’ motorsport portfolio, which includes the FIA World Endurance Championship and iconic 24h or Le Mans, as well as motorcycling’s MotoGP, FIM Speedway GP, FIM Superbike World Championship, Bennetts British Superbike Championship, British Speedway, and FIM Endurance World Championship.

The broadcaster’s multi-year rights renewal with AFL, meanwhile, will see every league game shown live on discovery+, with selected games also shown on TNT Sports’ linear channel throughout the season.

The 2025 AFL season starts on March 6, with reigning champions the Brisbane Lions taking on the Geelong Cats.

TNT Sports’ AFL rights package also includes coverage of all AAMI Community matches starting on February 25, as well as all matches from the AFL Women’s league from August 2025.

Other rights TNT Sports holds include those covering the Australian Open and French Open grand slam tennis tournaments, cycling’s Grand Tour and UCI Mountain Bike World Series, the Olympic Games, as well as soccer’s top-tier Premier League, UEFA European club soccer tournaments, Premiership men’s and women’s rugby, mixed martial arts’ UFC, and boxing.
