Sportfive, the international sports marketing firm, has been appointed as the exclusive sponsorship agency for the Beach Volleyball World Championships in Australia next year.
Through a deal between that agency and the event’s organizing committee unveiled today, Sportfive will handle domestic sponsorship sales for the event (with both men’s and women’s events taking place simultaneously), which will be held in Adelaide next November.
Next year will mark the first time that an FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships (held biennially) takes place in Australia, and indeed in Oceania.
In addition, Sportfive has also been unveiled as the exclusive sponsorship sales agent for the Volleyball Australia governing body, in a multi-year agreement.
Jenny Mann, chief executive of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships Adelaide 2025 body, has said: “The enthusiasm for the event from the volleyball community both in Australia and around the globe has been incredible and we’re really pleased to be working with Sportfive to maximize the opportunities for our event partners and enhance the experience for everybody taking part.”
Damien Moston, Sportfive’s managing director for Australia and New Zealand, added: “We are excited about bringing Sportfive’s decades-long expertise in Olympic sports sponsorships to deliver a world-class team of sponsors for the Beach Volleyball World Championships 2025 and playing our part to make the event in Australia a huge success.”
