The USL Super League, the new US top-tier women’s soccer competition, has announced US-based Gainbridge Insurance Agency as its title sponsor – the first awarded to a professional US soccer league.
The multi-year agreement, which starts from the 2025-26 season, also includes Gainbridge becoming an official partner and the exclusive financial services partner of the league.
Gainbridge will gain significant visibility across the league, with its logo featuring on kits, in stadiums, and across social, digital, and broadcast channels.
The league, whose inaugural regular season ends on June 1, will have its first postseason from June 7 to June 14, when its first champion will be crowned.
Elsewhere in the US, Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles FC has partnered with ScorePlay, a provider of AI-powered digital and media asset management solutions in sports.
The partnership will see ScorePlay provide LAFC with AI-driven digital media centralization technology, serving as a central platform for the club’s photos, videos, and live broadcasts.

It will also allow for easy video clipping to create short-form content ready for social media channels, and for players to receive and share their highlights within minutes.
The new partnership builds on ScorePlay’s deal with MLS to manage and distribute content throughout the 30 clubs that make up the league.

Aston Villa, of English soccer’s top-tier Premier League, have announced plans to increase the capacity of its home stadium, Villa Park, to over 50,000
The capacity increase will come via the redevelopment of the stadium’s North Stand from around 5,000 to 12,000, which the club hopes to complete by the second half of 2027.
Villa Park is due to host games during the flagship UEFA European Championship 2028 national teams tournament, which is being hosted across the UK and Ireland.
Previous plans to completely rebuild the North Stand were shelved in 2023 due to concerns that the club would have to play high-profile games with a reduced capacity, with Villa competing in the top-tier European Champions League tournament for the first time in the 2024-25 season.
However, the club have now said the ground’s current capacity of 42,918 will not decrease at any point during the building works.
Meanwhile, German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund (BVB) has extended its regional partnership with Vietnamese firm Kobler through the 2025-26 season.
The extension will see Kobler continue to receive prominent brand exposure during select home game broadcasts across Southeast Asia, with the club also competing in this season’s Champions League and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup later this year.
Its partnership has so far seen Kobler host local activations, including co-branded campaigns and fan experiences around key Bundesliga and Champions League fixtures.
BVB managing director Carsten Cramer said: “As our first commercial partner in Vietnam, one of our target markets, the cooperation with KOBLER is particularly important to us.
“Our partnership is based on similar values that both brands strive for: Success and reliability.”
