Pay-TV heavyweight Sky Italia has secured rights in its home market to a host of top-tier men's UEFA European soccer competitions over the next few years.
Sky Italia has today unveiled the acquisition of rights covering the men's European Championships in 2028, the qualifying games to decide which teams progress to that event, and the 2026-27 Nations League campaign.

The dominant pay-TV broadcaster in Italy will cover all 51 Euro 2028 games, 24 of them exclusively, as the 24-team tournament runs between June 9 and July 9 across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Sky Italia has also said it will show select games from the Nations League group stages and from the Euro 2028 qualifiers, as well as all matches taking place in the Nations League Finals mini-tournament (set to take place next June).
Top-tier international friendlies in the run-up to the Euros will also be covered live. Meanwhile, there will also be highlights provided of all matches shown.
Italy's men's side – winners of Euro 2020 – were eliminated from Euro 2024 at the round-of-16 stage, beaten 2-0 by Switzerland.
This major coup for Sky Italia has been announced with the 2026-27 Nations League beginning on September 24 – the group stage will see Italy take on Belgium, Turkiye, and France (playing each of those sides twice).
Giuseppe De Bellis, executive vice president for sport, news, and entertainment at Sky Italia, commented: "We are proud to announce this new agreement, which further enriches our European offering and confirms Sky as a premium partner of UEFA."
This deal adds to a substantial existing agreement between UEFA and Sky Italia, through which the broadcaster shows the vast majority of UEFA's top-tier men's club competitions – the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League – during the current cycle.
Indeed, it will hold the same set of rights to the Champions League et al. during the next cycle – 2027-31 – as was unveiled late last year.
