Saran Media Group, the prominent Turkish media operation, has signed a multi-year agreement to broadcast English soccer’s Premier League (EPL) and knockout FA Cup competition in Romania.
The three-season deal begins with the 2025-26 season, running through 2027-28 and will include live matches, delayed broadcasts, highlights, and clips.
As part of the deal, Saran Media will hold exclusive broadcast rights across all existing platforms, including TV, online, and mobile.
Saran will replace current Premier League rightsholder Digi Sport, the Romanian pay-TV broadcaster, which signed a three-year deal between 2022-23 and 2024-25, sharing coverage with commercial network Look Sport.
Additionally, Saran has secured the exclusive rights to broadcast the FA Cup and FA Community Shield in Romania from this season through the 2027-28 campaign.
The only Romanian representative in the Premier League is Tottenham Hotspur's Radu Dragusin.
