Roku, the free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service, has secured digital rights to the X Games, the global action sports events series, for the 2025 season.

The deal sees the service become the exclusive US streaming home of the X Games Aspen 2025 and an X Games event this summer.

The competition will be available on Roku’s recently launched Roku Sports Channel.

Additionally, Roku has launched X Games TV, which will broadcast programming highlights, clips, interviews, and archival content.

Jeremy Bloom, chief executive of X Games, said: “As the new CEO of X Games, I’m thrilled to announce this partnership with Roku. This collaboration ensures that the world’s premier action sports events will reach a broader audience.”

The 24/7 Roku Sports Channel launched on August 12 and features Roku’s wide slate of domestic streaming sports rights in the US including its 18-game MLB package of Sunday regular season fixtures, the rights to which Roku secured back in May.
