Revolut, the digital financial services company, has broadened its sports sponsorship portfolio by becoming a global partner of English women’s soccer club Manchester City.
The deal marks Revolut’s first investment in women’s soccer.
As part of the agreement, the Revolut brand will be visible on the training kit sleeve of Manchester City Women, while club captain Alex Greenwood will become a Revolut ambassador.
As well as digital and physical assets that will feature Revolut branding throughout the season, the partnership will be further activated with a Revolut takeover at the Manchester City vs Chelsea game at the Etihad Stadium in March.
Manchester City Women and Revolut will also collaborate to provide both fans and Revolut customers – both new and existing – with access to exclusive benefits and experiences.
Charlotte O’Neill, managing director of Manchester City Women, said: “This is a key moment as we welcome another brand committed to investing in the women’s game and supporting the commercial growth and sustainability of the club.
