World Champions were crowned and the first Olympic qualifications in trampoline for Rio 2016 were awarded this weekend at the 2015 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships in Odense, Denmark.

In cooperation with Sport Event Denmark and the city of Odense the Danish Gymnastics federation hosted this weekend's World Cup. The event set-up worked perfectly and the experiences will be of benefit of the World Championships in 2015 also in Odense.

At the Opening Ceremony most of them spontaneously started dancing, and rumor has it that the young participants are planning the largest multi country Flash Dance Mob, which will take place somewhere, sometime tomorrow, Wednesday.

The FIG Council will convene in the Olympic Capital of Lausanne (SUI) April 11 – 12. The 44 member Council was established at the Congress of Marrakech in November 2000 through the impetus given by FIG President and IOC member Bruno Grandi (ITA). The Council’s primary goal is to act as a flexible and efficient modern management tool. It will convene for the first time, taking decisions that will profoundly affect the Federation’s future.
