US golf’s top-tier PGA Tour has entered into a commercial deal with Stanley 1913, a food and beverage container brand owned by the Pacific Market International group.

Through a multi-year partnership unveiled today, the range of Stanley 1913 sustainable hydration productions becomes the insulated drinkware of the PGA Tour, and of the PGA Tour Champions affiliate senior tour.

In terms of collaboration between the two parties, the golf body has said these will take the form of player relationships, and on-site sales and activations, at tournaments across the US.

In terms of PGA Tour commercial activities, earlier this week it was unveiled that US manufacturing firm 3M has renewed its title sponsorship of the PGA Tour golf event in Minnesota for another five years.

The tournament will continue to be known as the 3M Open through 2030.

The tour also recently renewed a deal with paint and coatings brand Valspar to continue as the title sponsor of the Valspar Championship in Tampa Bay, Florida, through 2030.

In terms of Stanley 1913’s activity in the sports sponsorship sector, meanwhile, November saw the food and drinkware brand sign a deal with Argentine soccer superstar Lionel Messi.
