The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the US-based mixed martial arts (MMA) series, has signed a multi-year partnership with the Fox Sports Mexico (FSM) broadcaster.
At the partnership launch, meanwhile, PFL chief executive Peter Murray commented that a Latin American series could be launched by the property, potentially as early as 2026.
As part of the partnership, FSM will air all of PFL’s high-level series' – including the 2025 PFL World Tournament, Champions Series, PFL Europe, PFL MENA, PFL Africa, and PFL’s fight library – all in Spanish.
Additionally, FSM will showcase featured programming, including pre- and post-fight shows, press conferences, and weigh-ins.
The PFL broadcasts will air on FSM’s multi-platform channels, including Fox Sports Premium and the Fox Sports MX app.
The partnership will debut with the start of the 2025 PFL World Tournament on April 3, which will take place in Orlando, Florida.
In terms of other UFC rights in Mexico, FSM has also been covering the Ultimate Fighting Championship rival promotion in recent years.
Murray said: “Much like the PFL, Fox Sports Mexico has been a trailblazer in the mixed martial arts space, and together, we are committed to bringing world-class MMA to fans across Mexico and Latin America.
“With our roster of elite Latin American fighters continuing to grow, this partnership marks just the beginning of our expansion in one of the fastest-growing regions in the sport.
He then added: “As we build toward the future, we are exploring exciting opportunities to further elevate MMA in the region, including the potential launch of a PFL Latin America league as early as next year.”
Earlier this week, PFL unveiled a multi-year rights deal with Starzplay, the subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
That deal also covers all PFL franchises.
