Nintendo, the Japanese video game company, has expanded its long-standing partnership with the Seattle Mariners, becoming the Major League Baseball (MLB) team’s first jersey sleeve partner.

Through the agreement, Nintendo will be featured on the Mariners jersey sleeve for all regular season and postseason games.

The mark will debut on the team's jerseys for the 2025 season opener on March 27 against the Athletics at T-Mobile Park.

The franchise will feature the Nintendo racetrack logo on their home jerseys, and a Nintendo Switch 2 logo on away jerseys.

The Mariners are the first team in MLB to feature different marks for home and road games.

In addition, Mariners star Julio Rodríguez will serve as a brand ambassador for the Japanese developer.

Nintendo has had a relationship with the franchise since 1992.

MLB and the MLB Players Association approved sponsor patches on jerseys at the start of the 2023 season as part of a new collective bargaining agreement.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Guardians has announced a new partnership with SeatGeek, making it the team's official ticket marketplace.

Already MLB's official ticket marketplace, SeatGeek will continue to extend its presence in baseball at the local level in Cleveland, starting with the 2025 season.

The partnership includes a variety of "high-impact" assets in and around Progressive Field, including entitlement of the recently renovated SeatGeek Infield Lounge and Boxes. SeatGeek will also collaborate with the Guardians to enhance the experience for season ticket members, most notably through its role as the presenting sponsor of Guardians Season Ticket Appreciation Week.
