Nike has agreed a new sponsorship deal with FDJ-Suez, the women’s professional cycling team, marking the US sportswear giant’s return to the sport.
Under the agreement, the brand becomes the UCI Women’s WorldTour team’s official lifestyle apparel supplier starting from the 2025 season under an exclusive partnership.
Through this collaboration, FDJ-Suez’s athletes and staff will wear lifestyle apparel designed by Nike, including tracksuits, t-shirts, and sneakers.
The deal makes FDJ-Suez the only professional cycling team, across both the women’s and men’s pelotons, in Nike’s portfolio.
Nike makes a return to cycling after largely stepping away from the sport following its ill-fated sponsorship of Lance Armstrong.
Stephen Delcourt, general manager of FDJ-Suez, said: “This partnership with Nike is a unique opportunity for our team. Collaborating with such an iconic brand will strengthen our identity while bringing a fresh dimension to our project.

Nike also has an endorsement deal with FDJ-Suez rider Demi Vollering. The Dutch star signed a deal with Nike in April 2024, making her one of the few cyclists to have an individual connection with the brand.
The 2025 season will mark the team’s 20th anniversary. FDJ-Suez, which was the first French team to join the UCI Women’s WorldTeam, enjoyed a successful 2024 season, picking up 13 victories.
