The Golden State Valkyries, of US women’s basketball’s WNBA, have announced CBS Bay Area as the team's official media partner for its inaugural season.

Viewers across Northern California will be able to watch Valkyrie games on the KPIX TV channel and the PIX+ streaming service.

As part of the deal, CBS Bay Area will cover all aspects of the team's first season, including the broadcast of a weekly behind the scenes show with Valkyries players and coaches.

Viewers will also be able to watch certain locally televised games on CBS Sacramento via the KOVR and KMAX services.

Additionally, CBS Bay Area will broadcast the Valkyries' pregame and postgame studio shows with exclusive team content and studio analysis at halftime for all locally televised Valkyries' games. 

The partnership will see the Valkyries' preseason games broadcast on PIX+ from May 6, leading up to the tipoff at the Valkyries' first game on May 16.

The partnership will include community engagement initiatives.

The franchise has also announced a multi-year partnership with US beauty retailer Sephora, making it a founding partner of the Valkyries.

Sephora will be the naming rights partner for the team’s 31,800-square-foot, state-of-the-art Oakland-based performance center, rebranded as the “Sephora Performance Center”, and will be the presenting partner for the Valkyries Content Day and Training Camp.

HotelPlanner, the hotel booking company, has announced its partnership as the official fan and member accommodation partner of the UK’s Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) governing body.

The deal will allow the LTA to provide its 1.9 million members, which uncludes players, coaches and officials, with access to hotels in Britain and globally.

HotelPlanner will offer LTA members exclusive hotel rates for both national and international travel, including major events such as the HSBC Championships, the Lexus Open Nottingham, and the Lexus Open Eastbourne.

Financial services provider Credit One Bank has extended its title partnership with the Credit One Charleston Open through 2031 and with this deal, the tournament will provide equal prize money to players starting in 2026.

This means that the Credit One Charleston Open becomes the first standalone WTA 500 tournament to voluntarily increase prize money before the 2033 deadline for all single-week WTA 1000 and 500 events to reward equal prize money.

The Credit One Charleston Open is the kick-off event of the clay season on the WTA Tour.

Global hotel chain Hilton and English county cricket side Hampshire Women and Hampshire Men’s have announced a new partnership, making Hilton the new front-of-shirt sponsor for both teams.

Hilton has been a proud sponsor of Hampshire Cricket Club since 2012, providing the teams with accommodation nationwide, and fans through its hotel, Hilton Southampton – Utilita Bowl (the cricket side’s ground).

Hilton will be the front-of-shirt sponsor for Hampshire Women's kits during their two white ball tournaments and Hampshire Men's 2025 Rothesay County Championship campaign.

Additionally, Hilton branding has been featured on the training kits for both teams, with the men's side showcasing the new kits during their recent pre-season tour in Sri Lanka.
