UFC, the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, has announced betting platform NetBet as its official sportsbook and betting partner in Europe.
The deal covers the UK, Ireland, Greece, Italy, and Romania and starts with UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Brady at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday (March 22), where it will have a brand presence in the Octagon, UFC’s international broadcast feed, and across digital and social platforms.
US-based cybersecurity company ReliaQuest has been named an official cybersecurity sponsor of golf’s PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions.
As part of the deal, the PGA Tour will showcase ReliaQuest via its televised content, player relationships, and onsite activations at tournaments as the company looks to raise awareness of cybersecurity to a wider audience.
The partnership builds on ReliaQuest's presence within US golf, having already secured a sponsorship deal for the Valspar Championships, part of the PGA Tour’s Florida Swing.
US media giant NBCUniversal has added its four regional sports networks (RSNs) to its Peacock streaming platform as add-on subscriptions.
Between them, the four NBC Sports networks have local broadcast rights for games featuring teams and franchises in the cities of Boston and Philadelphia, as well as across San Francisco’s Bay Area and California.
The Major League Baseball teams’ games available to subscribers include the Athletics, San Francisco Giants, and Philadelphia Phillies, while games from basketball’s NBA teams will come from the Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, and Philadelphia 76ers.
Games involving the National Hockey League’s Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks are also included, as well as women’s soccer’s NWSL franchise Bay FC.
Pirces for the add-on subscriptions vary between the four RSNs. Bay Area and California will cost $17.95 per month each, while Boston is $14.95 per month. Philadelphia’s RSN comes in at $24.95 per month.
Citizen UK, a division of the Japanese watch manufacturer, has been announced as the latest commercial partner of The Hundred, English cricket’s short-format competition.
Under the deal, struck with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Citizen Watch becomes the official timekeeper of the competition and will gain a presence within stadiums via LED screens, as well as across The Hundred’s website and digital communications.
Rugby union’s World Rugby governing body has announced personal care brand Wilkinson Sword as an official partner of the upcoming 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup.
As the tournament’s official shaving partner, Wilkinson will launch a digital and social campaign around its shaving range during the competition, which is being staged across England from August 22.
As part of its activations, Wilkinson Sword will launch fan engagement initiatives.
