Kings League, the international soccer competition launched by Spanish soccer legend Gerard Pique and his Kosmos company, has secured over 20 media partners and several major sponsors for its new Kings World Cup of Nations 7 a-side tournament that began in Italy yesterday (January 1).

The inaugural competition has broadcast and platform partners in more than 60 countries worldwide, including Sky Sport in Italy, DAZN in Japan and Australia, ESPN & Disney+ in Latin America, CBS Golazo Network in the US, and Caze TV in Brazil.

Other broadcasters include ANT+ (Greece and Cyprus), MBC/SSC (Middle East and North Africa), OneFootball (rest of the world, including Spain, Germany, & the UK from the quarter-finals stage onwards), OneSport (Israel), S Sport (Turkey), SBS (South Korea), SOOP (South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines), Telemundo (USA and Puerto Rico), Varzish TV (Tajikistan), ZAP (Angola and Mozambique), Zor TV (Uzbekistan), and Kyivstar (Ukraine).

In addition to television coverage, Kings World Cup of Nations content will feature on the competition's official channels on social networks (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter).

Several high-profile brands have also signed up for the tournament, including McDonald’s, Red Bull, Spotify, Air Asia, Adidas, Iren, and Floki.

The Kings World Cup of Nations will feature 16 national teams, including Brazil, Italy, Turkey, and Spain, and will be held through January 12.

The two best teams will face off in the grand finale at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

Kings World Cup of Nations involves several global soccer legends such as Kaká, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Sergio Agüero, Francesco Totti, Andrea Pirlo, Gianluigi Buffon, Alessandro Del Piero, and Iker Casillas.

To fuel its global growth, Kings League hired Djamel Agaoua from the NBA as its new chief executive.

The Kings League is aiming to expand with new regional leagues in markets such as Italy in Europe, Brazil in South America, and further leagues across North America (particularly Mexico), the Middle East, and Asia.
