The Nascar US stock car racing series has today (April 14) announced the extension of its integrity services deal with the international sports data intelligence and digital content service provider Sportradar.
The multi-year renewal, which builds on a deal first struck in December 2018, and last extended in June 2019, will see Sportradar Integrity Services (SIS) continue to provide Nascar with bet monitoring and reporting across all Nascar events and races for the duration of the deal.
The sports data firm will supply Nascar with its education and prevention services to “deliver an annual in-person integrity working and online tutorial” too.
Sportradar’s intelligence and investigation service and integrity auditing service are also part of the deal.
In addition, Nascar will be the first North American sports league to receive four quarterly race reports from Sportradar and one annual American sports betting report, which will enable the series to “better analyze how fans are engaging with the sport through betting”, it has said.
Joe Solosky, Nascar’s managing director of sports betting, said: “When we began our journey into legal sports betting, our first priority was to protect the integrity of our product. Through this renewal, we’ll continue to ensure that our drivers, teams and industry stakeholders are educated on our policies. We are excited for this next step of the relationship between Nascar and Sportradar.”
