Cruise operator MSC Cruises will once again put its name to a trio of grands prix from motor racing’s iconic Formula 1 (F1) series in 2025.
The brand will title sponsor races in Austria (late June), the US (mid-October), and Brazil (early November) next season, as part of its overall commercial partnership with F1.
An initial multi-year deal was unveiled in March 2022, and the latest tie-up between the two parties has been valued by GlobalData Sport at $35 million annually through 2026.
The trio of races have been renamed to reflect the title sponsorship – becoming the MSC Cruises Austrian Grand Prix, the MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix, and the MSC Cruises Grande Premio de Sao Paulo. This marks the debut title sponsorship for the company at all three venues.
Last season, the cruise operator – an F1 global partner – did the same for the races in Japan, Belgium, and Emilia-Romagna in Northern Italy.
In addition to the trio of race title sponsorships, the MSC Cruises luxury travel brand, Explora Journeys, will be making an appearance at the iconic Monaco Grand Prix next year.
