Match Hospitality Asia, a regional arm of the Switzerland-based agency, has been appointed to handle hospitality sales for the second race of the E1 all-electric motorboat racing series’ 2025 season in Doha, Qatar.

The firm has today been unveiled as the official commercial hospitality provider for the E1 Doha GP, which will take place across February 21 and 22 on Doha's Pearl Island.

Match, part of the overall Byrom group, will run hospitality services from the Racers' Lounge, situated at The St Regis Marsa Arabia hotel.

They will also provide guests with the opportunity to access a private charter experience close to the action.

The 2025 E1 season gets underway in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on January 24, and will run through to a Miami event in November (as was announced in mid-December).

Five of seven races have locations sorted – Jeddah, Doha, Monaco, Lake Como, and Miami.

Enrique Byrom said: "We’re proud to have been selected by E1 to support an event as unique, exciting and innovative as the E1 Doha GP … The location of the Racers’ Lounge gives spectators in our exclusive VIP hospitality a spectacular vantage point from which to truly immerse themselves in the exhilarating E1 racing while experiencing a bespoke entertainment experience.”

The build-up to the first race of season 2 has already seen – earlier this week – Kuehne+Nagel come on board as the official logistics supplier to E1.

Last month, meanwhile, E1 announced that the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) will serve as its new presenting partner.

In terms of Match Hospitality Asia's recent activity, that firm and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) continental governing body have now renewed their partnership, to cover the 2027 Asian Cup.

The overall Match Hospitality group has also previously been the commercial hospitality rights holder for FIFA soccer events, including the 2022 men’s World Cup in Qatar.

However, in mid-2024 the equivalent rights for the 2026 World Cup were instead allocated to On Location, part of the Endeavor group.
