English Premier League soccer giants Liverpool have today unveiled Husqvarna, the Swedish robotic lawnmowing specialist, as a new global partner.

As part of the multi-year agreement, Husqvarna will become the official groundskeeping partner of the club, the first partnership of its kind for both parties.

Since 2021, Liverpool has been using Husqvarna robotic mowers for its pitches at Anfield, the AXA Training Centre, and the AXA Melwood Training Centre.

Through the official partnership, Husqvarna’s equipment and solutions will be more “deeply integrated” into the club’s groundskeeping teams’ daily routines and pitch upkeep.

The Merseyside-based club will also collaborate with Husqvarna to create content and activations using its social platforms.

Additionally, the company’s branding will be featured on the digital LED boards during matches at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Premier League champions Manchester City have partnered with Piing, the fan engagement platform.

Through the deal, Piing becomes the official crowd games supplier to the club, further enhancing a relationship it has had with the team since it launched.

Under the multi-year official supplier agreement, Man City fans at the Etihad Stadium and the Joie Stadium, home to the club’s women’s and academy teams, will be able to take part in Piing games pre-match and at half-time on match days, as well as in hospitality areas.

The official collaboration is Piing’s first with a Premier League club.

Gareth Langley, CEO of Piing, commented: “This collaboration marks a huge step for the Piing brand and brings us back to a team in which we have some deep connections and long-standing relationships.”
