IMG, the heavyweight sports market agency, and the Rugby League Commercial body, have partnered with digital platform provider Urban Zoo to revamp the official fan app for the sport in England.
The Our League platform will be powered by Urban Zoo and give users access to the latest news, videos, and key information via the app’s match center, which covers all levels of the game.
This includes the three English Super League competitions – men’s, women’s, and wheelchair – as well as cup competitions, such as the Challenge Cup, and Community Rugby League divisions like the National Conference League.
Ahead of the 2025 Super League season getting underway in February, Our League will also host a new predictor game, as well as improved functionality across interactive features such as ‘Player of the Match’ votes, polls, and quizzes. These features will also be available across the Super League and Rugby League websites.
The Our League platform originally launched in 2017, and over the subsequent seven years, membership has passed 300,000.
The relaunch follows what is claimed to be a record 2024 that saw over 8.5 million engagements across all rugby league social media channels and over 162 million individual views on rugby league video content last year.
