Fubo TV, the sports-focused OTT streaming platform and internet TV service, has renewed its exclusive deal to show English soccer’s top-tier Premier League in Canada through the 2027-28 season.

Under the three-year extension, which begins with the 2025-2026 season, Fubo will continue to stream all 380 Premier League matches and shoulder programming.

Fubo has been the exclusive home of the English top-flight in Canada since the 2022-2023 season.

The Premier League features just one Canadian player, Bournemouth’s Daniel Jebbison, who made his national team debut in a Concacaf Nations League match against Mexico in March.

The renewal bolsters Fubo’s soccer portfolio in Canada where it also exclusively streams the Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa Italiana, France’s Ligue 1, the Canadian men’s and women’s national team, the Canadian Premier League, and South America’s Copa Libertadores club competition.

In the US, Fubo has exclusive rights to stream select European national team matches from UEFA.

In addition to exclusive soccer rights, Fubo streams over 100 live sports in Canada, including the NBA (basketball), MLB (baseball), NHL (ice hockey), and the IPL (cricket).

Ben Grad, Fubo senior vice president of strategic partnerships and operations, said: “The Premier League is considered the most prestigious soccer league globally and we are proud to remain the exclusive home of this elite competition in Canada.

“Fubo was founded with the mission to stream premium soccer and a range of sports for consumers, and we’ve built a strong audience by carrying leagues that Canadians are passionate about. This renewed agreement underscores the value that Fubo’s sports-first audience and industry-leading platform bring to world-class content providers like the Premier League.”

Paul Molnar, chief media officer at the Premier League, added: “We are delighted that Fubo has extended its partnership for another three years, recognising the Premier League as a key part of its programming.

“The Premier League has many passionate fans in Canada, and Fubo does an excellent job making the competition available to them. We look forward to working together over the coming seasons as we continue to showcase the excitement of the league to both new and existing fans.”
