US sports-focused OTT streaming service and internet TV platform Fubo TV has unveiled marketing deals with a trio of Major League Baseball teams, as the 2025 season moves into its first full month.

Tie-ups were announced yesterday (April 2) between Fubo and the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Guardians, and Houston Astros for the remainder of the 2025 campaign.

The tie-ups will give Fubo in-stadium and digital branding rights, as well as fan engagement and activation opportunities.

In addition, MLB fans will have the opportunity to “stream Fubo’s leading sports, news, and entertainment programming” through promotions.

The Reds, Astros, and Guardians have all won two and lost four of their six games so far.

Yale Wang, Fubo’s executive vice president of marketing, has said: “Fubo is the streaming leader in Major League Baseball coverage, which is why we are excited to secure marketing partnerships with the Reds, Guardians and Astros for the 2025 season. Fubo has long been committed to super-serving baseball fans, and our MLB team partnerships allow us to engage with baseball audiences even further.”

Mid-March saw Fubo TV confirm a new carriage agreement with the Texas Rangers MLB franchise.

Fubo will carry Rangers Sports Network, broadcasting all Texas Rangers home games not selected for national coverage live to members of its English-language paid plans in Texas, as well as the neighboring states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

In addition, Rangers Sports Network-produced pre- and post-game shoulder content will also be included in the broadcast partnership, while Fubo will separately host the Rangers Sports Network as a whole as a paid add-on that can be combined with the Spanish-language or free-tier plans across the relevant states.

Another part of that deal involves Fubo becoming a commercial partner of the Rangers (in the same manner as the aforementioned deals) and taking on a branding presence at the team’s 40,300-capacity Globe Life Field stadium in prominent spots – such as behind home plate.
